@Road solutions using a mobile phone with a GPS receiver are ideal when you want to monitor a driver’s work location even when that driver changes vehicles or is out of the vehicle. @Road mobile phone-based solutions include GeoManager PE (Pocket Edition) and Pathway PE.

@Road offers an in-vehicle messaging device, called the iDT (Internet Data Terminal) for use with its GeoManager iLM solution. The iDT enables in-vehicle messaging between drivers and dispatchers using the optional Messaging and Forms feature of GeoManager. An optional keyboard and/or barcode wand enable quick and accurate entry of part numbers, customer data, or other information drivers want to share with the back office.

The iDT also works with the optional Driver Logs feature of GeoManager iLM, which makes it easy to create the daily driver logs required by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Drivers simply enter their duty status into the iDT and the information is processed, managed and charted using the GeoManager solution.
